The watercolor was hand painted during the Italia Grand Sketching Tour, my motorcycle trip to discover the beauties of the Italian cultural and architectural heritage. This original watercolor will make your home unique. You will always have the emotion of an Italian glimpse within your reach, to experience the joy of travel at all times.

This painting is special to me because it represents the statue of Il Giorgione, a very important painter for the history of Italian art. He was born in Castelfranco Veneto where he decorated the cathedral with a unique painting representing the city. I painted this watercolor in the early days of my tour and have always seen it as a sign that I was on the right track. In fact, Giorgione was a boy prodigy and it was he, together with Titian, who revolutionized the art world by creating the Venetian school of painting. He died very young but this did not prevent him from making history, and for me this was a sign that passion and commitment matter more than time.

Materials and other information

The paining is created with professional artist grade watercolors on 300 gr watercolor paper. The painting is perfect for a living room or a bedroom, it comes unmounted and unframed. The quality of the materials ensure longevity, but artwork is best hung out of direct sunlight. The artwork is signed on the front and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Colors may vary slightly based on your monitor, though each picture is as accurate as possible. Paper is handcut and dimentions can vary slightly. The photos are indications of how the work can be displayed.

Orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 working days of receipt of payment, by courier. Shipping times vary between 72 hours and one week depending on the area (times can be extended outside of Europe due to custom). More information on tracking is sent by email following shipment. Orders are shipped to the shipping address indicated in the payment form. Return policies: the shipping is at the expense of the buyer. The refund is made upon receipt of the package.
