Walking in the heart of old town in Marsala
The Church of Purgatory in Marsala appears while walking in the side streets during the #italiagrandsketchingtour.
I decided to paint this church because of the perspective it offered. The square in front is narrow and the fountain is beautiful and huge, it occupies most of the space. The first time I passed here it was windy and the water was flying everywhere, making almost impossible to walk through.
I tried to do something different in the choice of the shot that could make it interesting the portrait of the church of Purgatory in Marsala and this choice continued when I decided to try something different in the coloring. And I love the result. What do you think?
This is not a very important church, but somehow this is why I love my tour. Beauty is everywhere and it is just about trusting your feeling and finding it in every corner and accepting that it cannot always be what others consider beauty. It is all about you and your sensitivity. Trust yourself, enjoy and share it if you want. Let’s show the world’s beauty!
